Title: CURSOR DISPLACEMENT CONTROL METHOD
Abstract: The invention relates to means for controlling a cursor displacement on a display screen and makes it possible to semiautomatically controlling the cursor displacement along a predetermined predictable path formed during a control process. The inventive method for controlling a cursor displacement with the aid of means used for controlling the specified co-ordinates thereof consists in setting the specified cursor focus co-ordinates with the aid of computer means representing a space-time algorithm for converging the current co-ordinates of the cursor focus with the specified co-ordinates thereof, in computing the current cursor co-ordinates with the aid of display means representing the display form of process of converging the specified and current co-ordinates of the cursor focus containing at least the image of the cursor with the focus represented in the current co-ordinates, in displaying the convergence process on the screen and in repeating said steps including or excluding the step for setting up the cursor focus specified co-ordinates.

Abstract: The inventive method relates to information input means and can be used for inputting a wide data spectrum by using a handler. Said invention makes it possible to increase the number of the handler displacement modes which are determined for ensuring a data input and correspond to the variants of the inputted information contents. The result is attained by repeatedly carrying out steps consisting in setting up the starting point for reading parameter values, in determining said parameter values, in comparing said values with sets of condition for selecting space areas from the plurality thereof comprising at least one condition of affiliation of the parameter values corresponding to the handles displacements to the given space area, in recording the sequence of the space area selections, in comparing said record with the determined plurality of the sequences of the space area selections and in inputting data items linked to the coincident sequence from the plurality of said data items.
